We've all seen it (and at times contributed to it) - parking outside schools at peak times can often be erratic, infuriating and ultimately, unsafe for children and other road users.
The award winning Responsible Parking initiative was originally designed to offer advice and resources to enable primary schools to run their own initiatives and campaigns to promote a safer school environment. So we've built on this success and created the "RPS - Responsible Parking Squad", which is a new toolkit especially designed for our Kent secondary schools.
Go to our "Resources for Schools" page, where you can register for the toolkit and find a full list of the available resources in order for any school to establish their very own squad; Including "Lesson Plans", RPS Hoodies and more!
Parents and "school runners" alike, can also explore the site and get ideas on how they can travel to school more actively and how they can get involved with encouraging other drivers to park considerably and safely around their child's school. Go on - Get inspired by checking out our "Get Involved" pages!
